The Concho Valley Dragway is getting really close to a grand opening this summer. San Angelo's newest 1/8 of a mile attraction is getting primed up to allow spectators in late June or early July. For those that do not know, the track is located just west of San Angelo off Arden Rd. I have heard that everything that has been built has taken only two months. MARKET REPORT
Yesterday I ran San Angelo residential home sales and compared it to the same timeframe in 2023. I was shocked to see that the numbers were virtually the same. Despite higher interest rates, prices are still remaining steady and homes continue to sell for just under list price. Inventory is increasing as well! As of yesterday there were 451 homes for sale in San Angelo. Six months ago there were less than 300 on the market.

INTEREST RATES
The average mortgage rates have been dropping in recent days. The 10 year treasury yield has been tumbling as well. It is not quite down to early 2024 lows but it is trending that way. There has yet to be any clear direction on what the Fed plans to do on their interest rate but hopefully we are moving in the right direction.
