The Angelo State Rams Baseball team is on the verge of yet another College World Series appearance. This weekend they will head to Lubbock to face Lubbock Christian in the South Central Super Regional. The Rams are the current National Champions and are seeking their 4th straight CWS appearance. Coach Brooks has the guys playing well at the right time of year. He has a better winning percentage in the postseason compared to the regular season.. That is INCREDIBLE!

MARKET REPORT
Residential sales in San Angelo are heating up with the weather. Today we reached 414 active homes in San Angelo. This is the most homes for sale at one time all year. We also have 203 houses under contract waiting to close. A whopping 52 properties received contracts in the last seven days. Of these, 17 were in the 100-200k range and another 15 were priced between 200-300k.
Here is how we are looking compared to 2023.. We have 37 fewer homes sold this year. 728 to 691 in my my is pretty much the same number. I feel this summer we will eventually surpass the 2023 sales numbers. The average sales price across all properties is down about $7000 to $265,000.

INTEREST RATES
I almost just left last week's Interest Rate update up for this week. Not a whole lot has changed due to a slow week of economic data.... Until this afternoon... The Fed meeting minutes were indecisive if they will leave the federal interest rate the same regardless of inflation data. They said they would not be opposed to raising the rate if inflation did not continue to cool. The 10 yr treasury yield, which mortgage rates generally follow, spiked initially but then settled down. Overall, mortgage rates have stayed the same over the past two weeks.
